The 5.11 QR Plate Carrier is a rapid-donning and doffing armor vest. It features an easy-to-use quick-release system for quick adaptation to a variety of situations. The body of the vest is constructed of high-strength TAC-LAM® laminate with laser-cut MOLLE slots for customization and durability for years of use. Low-profile Hypalon shoulder straps with removable shoulder pads keep things mobile without sacrificing comfort. The body panels are padded with stretch-woven fabric for breathability and comfort, while the rear MOLLE system supports the AMPC Pack and PC Convertible Hydration Carrier. Cords are threaded through loops at the bottom to prevent snagging. Velcro panels on the front and back provide for unit tag attachment. For added side protection, optional side plate pouches are provided.
