Description
The PVS-31 Battery Retention System, a piece of Ferro Concepts gear, is an accessory that securely fastens a PVS-31 battery pack to a helmet. The mounting system utilizes mounting features already available on most helmets.
The battery pack is stored inside a sleeve that is secured to the helmet via Velcro and three anchor points. Two lateral anchors attach to the helmet using the chin strap bolts or loop through accessory rails.
The third anchor, which is optional, acts as a firm bridge to an IR Strobe mount, designed to be adjustable and affixed to the top of the helmet. A tie-point at the front of the mount can be used to attach a strobe lanyard and secure the system to the front of the helmet.
