CRYO D2 Blade, XR Lock, and G10 Handle
The blade is made from high-carbon CRYO D2 steel, heat-treated and cryogenically processed according to SOG standards. This combination provides an ideal balance between edge retention, toughness, and easy maintenance, ensuring reliable long-term performance.
The SOG XR Lock® mechanism delivers smooth operation and can be easily controlled with one hand. Designed for natural handling, the knife can be opened either by pressing the thumb hole or by pulling back on the XR lock and deploying the blade. This robust locking system is extremely strong, capable of withstanding up to 1,500 pounds of force.
The G10 handle features a micro-textured anti-slip surface and an ergonomic design for enhanced durability and secure grip, even when hands are wet.
